The SoSo properties are all unique, each built with its own style and inspirations. Summa Beach Park

Summa Beach Park is a hugely popular waterfront destination and park. It is found within the neighborhood. Though it is small, it is well maintained and offers a small beach for those looking to walk along the waterfront. The lack of parking also means that it is primarily used only by residents of the SoSo community and neighboring communities, making it somewhat more private than many other parks.

Spillway Park

Spillway Park, which is located slightly south of the SoSo community, is a highly popular fishing destination. It is also widely used by dog walkers wanting a relaxing waterfront walking destination. 

Dreher Park

Located slightly further from the community than the two parks, but still within a short driving distance, is Dreher Park. The park offers a trail for walkers between its main park area and the Dreher Dog Park, located a little further south. Dreher Park provides residents access to lakes and fishing opportunities as well as playground and pavilion access.

Dining

Though there are no dining opportunities directly within the Southend Soso community, there are plenty of restaurants and eateries in the local area. These opportunities include Casa Del Mofongo, a Dominican restaurant, and two retro-inspired restaurants, Howley’s Restaurant and the Dixie Grill and Brewery. There is also a choice of multiple Cuban eateries.

Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society

The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society is located to the east of the SouthEnd community and is an excellent destination for a day out. Nestled within Dreher Park’s grounds, the zoo is home to many species of animals, including multiple rare and endangered that it is actively working to help protect. Some of the zoo’s most popular species include their Asian tigers, Koalas, Macaws, Jaguars, and Otters. Furthermore, the Palm Beach Zoo also hosts events, including light shows and more throughout the year.

Phipps Skate Park

Phipps Skate Park is incredibly popular among skating enthusiasts. The pleasant, tree-bordered environment also makes it a popular place for relaxing.

West Palm Beach Golf Course

West Palm Beach Gold Course is an expansive local golf course not far from the SoSo community, which has been renovated to improve its offering for the community. The Golf Course also offers on-site dining options.

West Palm Beach

The area is well known for its sports facilities and clubs, as well as for shopping destinations. In particular, Rosemary Square and Worth Avenue are especially popular destinations with over 275 boutique and national stores, restaurants, entertainment facilities, and galleries between them. 

Moreover, for those looking to make the most of the beautiful Florida sun, the intracoastal waterways and the coastline itself make an excellent destination for a day out. With soft, sandy beaches and gently rolling waves, the West Palm Beaches themselves are some of the best.
