The Neighborhood

West Palm Beach is well known for the numerous downtown landmarks. One walkable neighborhood that borders the city to the south is the Grandview Heights, West Palm Beach neighborhood. It is one of the original 13 historic districts found within West Palm Beach. It has a unique charm and character that attracts people.

Most of the community was established in the 1910s and 1920s, giving many properties a unique aesthetic from the early 20th century. This, coupled with the architectural influence from various cultures, including Spanish Mission, Mediterranean Revival, American Four Square, and Dutch Colonial Revival, has made the houses a true sight to behold.

Amenities

The Grandview Heights community is one that is welcoming and attractive. The vast array of different property styles ensure a home here will speak to every buyer. Howard Park

Howard Park is within Grandview Heights. The park has a baseball field for avid sports enthusiast as well as tennis courts. Shopping opportunities in Grandview Heights include the Rosemary Square (formerly called CityPlace), which offers plenty of options for dining and shopping, as well as a movie theatre, townhouses, and condominiums. Additionally, Clematis Street is known to provide a wide selection of boutique stores and nightclubs, giving Grandview Heights residents ample chances to let off some steam.

Armory Art Center

Grandview Heights residents can enjoy access to the Armory Art Center, which provides local people with access to numerous events, workshops, and educational programs.

Museums

There are a large number of museums within close proximity to the community.

First, there is the Norton Museum of Art; showcasing a collection of art styles from around the world; this unique museum makes for a relaxing and intriguing day out. As part of the museum, there is also an outdoor sculpture garden and indoor galleries.

In addition to this, there is also the local Henry Morrison Flagler Museum. This destination details the life of one of Florida and Palm Beach County’s most notable influential persons.

Finally, there is also the South Florida Science Museum. With a wide selection of different exhibits demonstrating some of our world’s many scientific marvels, this museum makes for an exciting (yet still highly educational) day out. The museum is also complete with a planetarium.

Located just 5 miles from the neighborhood is the Palm Beach Zoo. The zoo showcases a considerable number of different species from all over the world. It provides an exciting day out, and residents can visit the zoo multiple times to truly take in the magnificence of all of its 900+ species.

West Palm Beach
